REIKI PROCESSReiki energy is transmitted to "clients" from those attuned to Reiki energy. How do you get attuned?Basically, your body is prepared through the attunement process to receive
this higher level of energy. The attunement process prepares your body to
be able to transmit this energy to another. The Moon above Sedona, Bell Rock Vortex, © Mortensson 2002 Dr. Usui created the three degrees or ranks of Reiki which he called Shoden (First Teaching), Okuden (Inner Teaching), and Shinpiden (Mystery Teaching). Nowadays, we usually refer to the three levels simply at One, Two and Three or Master. Reiki Level ILevel One allows the person to transmit Reiki energy on a basic level to themselves and to others. Reiki Level IILevel Two prepares the Reiki practitioner to transmit more enery. They are also given the ability to transmit Reiki energy from a distance. In this level, the practitioners are given certain symbols which they draw or meditate on to use in their energy work. These symbols when used by an attuned practitioner allows the energy to work at a greater degree of power. Reiki Level III or MasterIn this level, the practitioner is given more symbols and is shown how to attune others. These symbols when used by an attuned practitioner allow the energy to transmit and work at an even greater degree of power. What Reiki is NOTReiki is simply the transference of the Reiki energy. However, many people, including myself, find some other modalities add to the spiritual experience. Just because it is NOT Reiki does not mean it cannot supplement Reiki in a positive way.
